1. DAVID10 CLARKE (DEA. DAVID9, EPHRAIM8, EPHRAIM7 CLARK(E), JAMES CLARK6 (CLERKE), JAMES CLARKE5, WILLIAM CLARKE4, JAMES CLARKE3, GEORGE CLARKE2, JAMES1 CLERKE) was born May 13, 1777 in Cornwall, Litchfield County, Connecticut, and died Aft. 1850 in Danby, Tompkins County, New York.
Notes for DAVID CLARKE: 1825 Danby, Tompkins County census shows the following: seven persons in the household, four being male, three being female; two of the males being 16-45; 1 married female under 45; 2 unmarried females 16-45; 0 females under 16; 70 acres of improved land; 27 head of cattle; 1 horse; 62 sheep; 10 hogs.
In his book entitled LANDMARKS OF TOMPKINS COUNTY, NEW YORK," by John A. Selkreg, 1894, we find the following: "...David Clark located in Beers Settlement (Danby) in 1801; Dea. Hezekiah Clark came in 1803. In the founding of the town of Danby on March 12, 1811, Birdsey Clark was appointed constable and collector; Hezekiah Clark pound master, fence viewer, and damage appraiser..."
1850 Danby census shows both david (1777) and son David (1818) to be insane and living in the household of Son Leverett and family.
Children of DAVID CLARKE are: i. DAVID11 CLARKE, b. 1818, Danby, Tompkins County, New York. 2. ii. LEVERETT CLARKE, b. 1820, Danby, Tompkins County, New York.

2. LEVERETT11 CLARKE (DAVID10, DEA. DAVID9, EPHRAIM8, EPHRAIM7 CLARK(E), JAMES CLARK6 (CLERKE), JAMES CLARKE5, WILLIAM CLARKE4, JAMES CLARKE3, GEORGE CLARKE2, JAMES1 CLERKE) was born 1820 in Danby, Tompkins County, New York. He married ELIZA. She was born Abt. 1821 in New York, and died March 10, 1851 in Danby, Tompkins County, New York.
Children of LEVERETT CLARKE and ELIZA are: i. BENJAMIN12 CLARKE, b. 1844, Danby, Tompkins County, New York; d. July 02, 1863, Gettysburg, Pennsylvania.
Notes for BENJAMIN CLARKE: Enlisted August 20, 1862 109th New York State Volunteers, rank of Private. At time of death attached to 137th NYSV, Private. Killed in battle at Gettysburg; buried at Gettysburg.
3. ii. THEODORE CLARKE, b. Abt. 1845, Danby, Tompkins County, New York. iii. GEORGE CLARKE, b. 1851, Danby, Tompkins County, New York; d. August 22, 1852, Danby, Tompkins County, New York.

3. THEODORE12 CLARKE (LEVERETT11, DAVID10, DEA. DAVID9, EPHRAIM8, EPHRAIM7 CLARK(E), JAMES CLARK6 (CLERKE), JAMES CLARKE5, WILLIAM CLARKE4, JAMES CLARKE3, GEORGE CLARKE2, JAMES1 CLERKE) was born Abt. 1845 in Danby, Tompkins County, New York. He married DEMA Abt. 1868. She was born 1849.
