Spine Fracture Fatal to Edward A Givens Edward A Givens, 46, died at the hospital on Oct 7 of the injuries he sustained on Sept 4, when he fell from a scaffold at his barn at Sweetlove's Corners. Three vertabrae were fractured by the fall. He improved after an operation, but the injury was so bad that he could not recover. The funeral was held Tuesday afternoon at his farm home on the Dryden road and burial was made at McLean cemetery. He was a son of the late Mr. and Mrs. Philo Givens and was born in the town of Dryden. He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Eva Trapp Givens, and their young daughter, Laura. 233.
