She was born November 28, 1764 in Ewing, Hunterdon, New Jersey, and died Aft. 1806 in Hopewell, Hunterdon, New Jersey Or Tompkins County, New York - her burial place is unknown, & her husband Timothy Hart is buried in McLean Cemetery next to family members & his brother Deacon Amos Hart & family.

He married THEODOSIA STOUT January 09, 1819 in Dryden or McLean, Tompkins Co, New York, or New Jersey, daughter of JESSE STOUT and ABIGAIL LOTT. She was born March 20, 1795 in Hopewell, Hunterdon, New Jersey, and died July 19, 1869 in Alleghany, New York.

FRANCES8 HART (TIMOTHY7, JOSEPH HART6 JR., JOSEPH HART5 SR., JOHN THRD4 HART, JOHN SCND 3, JOHN FST2, EUSTACE 1)4 was born October 09, 1798 in Hopewell, Hunterdon, New Jersey, and died September 11, 1847 in Peruville, Tompkins Co, New York. She married REUBEN DARLING5 Bef. 1820, he was probably the son of JEDEDIAH JR. and SARAH STEELE (his parents are not known for sure). He was born March 14, 1791 in Pownal, Bennington Vermont, he resided in New Hampshire also, & was one of the first residents of Locke, New York along with Joseph Smiley, whose daughter his son Lyman later married. He died 1870 in Peruville, Tompkins Co, New York, & is buried in the Peruville Cemetery, next to his first wife Frances & their daughter Francene.  At the time of his death, his will indicates his wife was Hannah Ann, last name unknown.

Children of FRANCES HART and REUBEN DARLING are:

15. i. SARAH EMALINE9 DARLING, b. Abt. 1821, Probably Groten, New York; d. August 01, 1890, Clarksville, Iowa. Sarah married Julius C. Bement about 1840. They are the parents of Reuben (1841-unknown); Frances Elizabeth (1845-1920) who married Thomas DeWight Darby in 1865 in Cortlandville. (Their onlychild, Lucius was born in New York in 1868 & shortly thereafter the entire Bement family moved to Clarksville, Iowa. Frances & Thomas are buried near their son in Lynwood Cemetery, Clarksville, Iowa. Dates & New York places of deathfor Julius Bement & son Reuben Bementare unknown. They did not make the trip to Iowa with the rest of the family about 1868); Ed Bement (1848-1927) who married Elizabeth Miller. They are both buried in Minnesota. Ed was a Civil War soldier; Sarah 1850-1889, who married Charles Ford in Clarksville, Iowa & died & is buried there; & William (1852-1923), who married Mae Livonia Miller in 1894 in Clarksville, Iowa & is buried in the Jesup, Iowa Cemetery, next to his wife.

ii. CAROLINE MATILDA DARLING, b. March 1823, Groton, New York; d. September 22, 1849, buried in Groton Cemetery, Groton, New York; m. DANIEL CONGER, Aft. 1843, Groton, New York; b. Abt. 1822, Locke, Tompkins County, New York; d. Aft. 1856. Her sister Rebecca was Daniels 2nd wife.

iii. FRANCENE DARLING6, b. February 20, 1825, Groton, Tompkins Co, New York; d. September 06, 1825, Peruville, Tompkins Co, New York.

16. iv. LYMAN DARLING, b. August 24, 1827, Groton, New York; d. 1899, Peruville, Tompkins County, New York. He married Sarah Smiley, daughter of Joseph & Hannah Dickison Smiley & both Lyman & Sarah are buried in the Peruville Cemetery, as are Lyman's parents.

v. REBECCA JANE DARLING, b. Abt. 1829, Groton, New York; d. Aft. 1870; m. DANIEL CONGER, Aft. 1856, Groton, New York; b. Abt. 1822, Locke, Tompkins County, New York; d. Aft. 1856. Dates of death & places of burial for both are unknown. Rebecca was still living when her father prepared his will in 1870.

17. vi. EDWARD DARLING, b. March 05, 1837, Groton, New York; d. Aft. 1895. Married Mary Niver, daughter of Charles Niver & Betsey Mineah. Both Charles & Betsey are buried in Peruville Cemetery as are Edward's parents. Dates & places of death & burial for Edward & Mary are not known.

6. HULDA8 HART (T IMOTHY 7, JOSEPH HART6 JR., JOSEPH HART5 SR., JOHN THRD 4 HART, JOHN SCND3, JOHN FST2, EUSTACE 1) was born April 17, 1801 in Hopewell, Hunterdon, New Jersey, and died April 14, 1884 in Probably Dryden, Tompkins County, New York. She married JOHN CARMER November 29, 1821, son of ABRAM CARMER and ELIZABETH THOMAS. He was born January 05, 1803, and died June 07, 1881.
