The Isaac Hollister Family Burial Ground Located on what is known today as Beaver Brook Road, about 1/4 mile from the Gravel Bank Office, the cemetery is on the left hand side of Beaver Brook Road on a high bank at the first knoll in the road. Located on the edge of the gravel bank in a group of trees. Cemetery cannot be seen from the road. Town of Caroline, Tompkins County, NY. Walked and updated by Janet M. Nash and Cathy Knauff July 13, 1999. These records are updated to the best of our ability to date. |

Isaac Hollister | d. Sept. 3, 1848 age 67y 7m 18d | son of Isaac & Elizabeth (Newcomb) Hollister [married Ruth Winchell] ("Tompkins County Tombstone Inscriptions" indicates d. Sept. 3, 1818 ae 69y 7m 18d) Headstone is clear, 1848 is the correct death year. No headstone for his wife was found. Winchell family records state she died in 1850, which is incorrect. Another record states she died in 1870 at Caroline Depot, Tompkins Co., NY. She was still living 1860 age 78 yrs. at the time the census was taken on August 27th 1860. |

Adaline Hollister | dau. of Timothy & Harriet Hollister, died Jan. 18, 1844 age 6y 4m | Her mother was Harriet Coon. Timothy & Harriet are buried in East Lawn Cemetery, Ithaca, NY. Timothy was the son of Isaac & Ruth Winchell Hollister. |
