Mary Lewis of Lisle is visiting her uncle, H.H. Robison.

The many friends of C.S. Wattles were deeply grieved to hear of his untimely death. His remains were taken through here on Tuesday for interment in Grove Cemetery. Deceased was a brother of Mrs. W. L. Boice and brother-in-law of Mrs. N.E. Wattles of this place, and Mrs. A.M. Wattles of Caroline.

Mrs. John Trowbridge, nee Millie Stamp, who has been visiting her parents in this village, received a telegram from New York last Tuesday night that Mr. Trowbridge was very ill. She left for the metropolis on the morning train. In a recent letter to her people here, she says Mr. Trowbridge is recovering.
